Log house in the middle of the Bieszczady Mountains in Poland.

The house was built of logs in accordance with the tradition prevailing in the region. Keeping in mind the sustainable architectural solutions, the use of local wood and carpenters. Designing the interior of this unusual house was both a challange and an adventure. It's a vacation house and needed to be holiday friendly and cozy. I decided to create a warm, family-friendly space with many interesting lighting solutions and some colour inside. Behind the fireplace was placed a piece of art: openwork metal sculpture illuminated at the back.
